The journey that has led to the release of this project is the result of 10 years of writing and recording. Tiffany began creating the songs found in this release when she returned to Canada after 4 years of travel to address a personal health crisis and to continue working with others also going through their own health challenges. The songs on this project were inspired by these experiences and reflect a range of human responses to facing the pain of difficult times, from determination, to embracing tears, to focusing on the positive.
Soundbath: Lie back, and get ready to receive the vibro-acoustic components of sound combined with guided meditation. Sounds are improvised using crystal and metal singing bowls, drones, drums, rattles, hand pans and vocal tones in specific ways. This intentional use of sound vibration can help you release stagnation in body, energy field and mind as well as restore and replenish to your personal vibration.
With pure tones and soulful lyrics, Tiffany Sparrow offers her sound in unique ways. In concert settings, she weaves ambiant folksy-roots original songs with cover tunes and world music.
